AV1 Vulcan Pilot Watch

XM607 – Black Buck

In April 1982, Avro Vulcan XM607 flew one of the longest bombing missions in history—over 8,000 miles round trip from Ascension Island to the Falklands. The objective: disable the runway at Port Stanley. The operation demanded multiple mid-air refuelling operations, precise navigation, and absolute commitment from its crew.

This limited edition AV1 places that mission on your wrist.

We don’t reference history. We build with it.

Each dial incorporates aluminium taken directly from XM607’s wing elevon, material recovered during RAF-led preservation work and repurposed in-house by Z-Branch. From raw aircraft section to finished dial, every component is designed, machined, finished, and printed under one roof, transforming historic aircraft material into a functional, engineered part.

The AV1 pilot watch is not merely a tribute but a physical continuation of the aircraft itself.

From Wing to Wrist: The XM607 Story

Material from Avro Vulcan XM607 has been recovered during RAF-led preservation work and repurposed in-house into the AV1 dial. This is original aircraft aluminium, taken from the wing elevon and given a new function.

The dial carries the timeline of Operation Black Buck, mapping the mission from Ascension Island to Port Stanley and back. The AV1 is not a commemorative piece—it is a direct continuation of the aircraft, built into a functional object.

A Chapter of History Built-in

The final disc/ring is more than metal, it’s the story of the Vulcan mission, etched with precision. The mission details, proudly printed, transform this dial into a wearable piece of history. Every stage, from machining to final assembly, is crafted in-house, ensuring both authenticity and meaning are built right into your wrist.
